The international jet-set ski centre of Madonna di Campiglio is home to Residence Villa Golf (1610m) located next to the cable car and ski slopes (Campigliois on the World Cup ski circuit). In winter it is possible to take evening snow-cat excursions into the mountains visiting restaurants high on the slopes. The town has shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars and there is a 9-hole golf course, open in the summer, which is only a few metres from Villa Golf. A car is essential. On Torrent Noce you can kayak and raft at Dimaro Canoa Club. During the summer skiing is available at Tonale Glacier.
