The resort is located on an island just outside the city of Esbjerg on the west coast of Denmark. The island is only 12km long and 3km across. The island has beautiful sandy beaches, villages, restaurants, handicraft shops and interesting flora and fauna. Even at the end of the 19th century this island was a famous resort area. One of Denmark's oldest golf courses, is just next to Hotel Fan× Badeland. The ferry to Esbjerg takes only 12 minutes and here you can find a theatre, concerts, restaurants, entertainment, shopping and museums. A car is recommended to enjoy the area.
